9:00 – Pick up from the hotel. Drive in the direction of Mtskheta. Visiting Jvari monastery. It is a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, which stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
After Jvari you will go to Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave town and one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. The town represents a complex of various structures dating from the 12 cents. BC to the 17th cent. AD.
Drive to Borjomi, the town famous for the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Experience winter trekking through the park on snowshoes (up to five hours). Have a picnic lunch during the trek, surrounded by the magical winter forest.
